Why the floor deserves early attention

Can a walk-in freezer go outdoors in Texas?

An outdoor freezer needs an enclosure and refrigeration system planned for the site, weather exposure and Texas ambient conditions. Roof protection, finishes, equipment location, drainage and clearances should be addressed in the project documents.

Can I use a freezer to pull warm product down quickly?

That requirement must be disclosed during design. Holding already-frozen inventory and rapidly reducing the temperature of an incoming load are different refrigeration duties and may require different capacity.
